Stayed here whilst on the island for a wedding and the staff could not do enough for us. We had a big party but I speak for myself and the rest of our group in saying the was one of the better premier inns we have stayed in. Room was spotless and breakfast was lovely with plenty of options to choose from.

Excellent stay at the premier inn Douglas. Staff really friendly and helpful my room was clean and the food was really good. Me and my wife got the meal deal which was excellent value for money.
It's a bog standard Premier Inn, not the Ritz, but even still the rooms were a disappointment. The hotel desperately needs a lick of paint and a deep clean, my room was fine, despite some weird stains on the walls and not having any towels. But my friend's room had not been cleaned or set up properly on check in. This is a shocking oversight. This hotel is obviously extremely understaffed, every single time I went to reception there was never anyone there and we had to wait 10+ minutes for help. One evening we ate in the restaurant and there was a single person in the kitchen making all of the food for about 20 people. The food was nice, the cook is good at his job, but surely it's against health and safety and food hygiene to have a single staff member doing everything. While these issues are clearly from management, the staff themselves are super friendly and helpful, actually the only staff member I found to be not especially friendly was an older gentleman wearing a black management lanyard. In particular the young man with long-ish dark hair is an absolute credit to the hotel, he went above and beyond to help us during our stay.
Good location but no parking. Staff happy and helpful. The breakfast is a real disappointment - the food is luke warm at best and was every one of the five mornings I had it. The mushrooms were actually cold every time. The coffee out of the coffee machine wasn’t even that hot! Probably won’t be back…..

I've stayed here for the last five years when I've been for the rally. The room maintenance needs looking at. The extractor in the bathroom didn't work. Only one of the four spot lights work and the safety inspection certificate on the consumer unit is two years out of date.
As much as I love Premier Inn , I could be tempted to the new Travelodge that will be open this time next year
